How is the Kunya API priced?
API usage on Kunya is charged from your account credits at provider cost plus a small platform markup. There are no per-seat or per-API-key fees — you pay for what you use. The same credit balance covers the dashboard UI and API calls, and you can set per-workspace or per-member spend limits.
API pricing model
- Credits deducted per call — each API request deducts credits based on tokens in/out or images/seconds generated
- No flat API fee — you do not pay extra to use the API vs the UI
- Provider cost + markup — Kunya routes through providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) and adds a platform markup for infrastructure and support
- Spend limits — set per-workspace and per-member credit limits in Team settings
