Kunya Desktop IDE

The Kunya Desktop IDE is a Cursor-class editor built into the Kunya Desktop app at IDE in the sidebar.

Getting started

1. Open IDE from the dashboard sidebar

2. Click Open Folder to select your project

3. Use the file explorer to open files; edit with Monaco + LSP when language servers are installed

Agent panel (⌘⇧L): workspace-aware coding agent with change-set review before files are written

Tab AI: ghost-text completions (toggle in status bar or IDE Settings)

⌘K inline edit: select code, press ⌘K, describe the change

Semantic search: Search sidebar → Semantic tab (index your codebase first)

Click Index codebase in the status bar to upload semantic chunks for RAG. Enable Watch to re-index on file changes.

Open IDE Settings from the activity bar gear icon or command palette (⌘⇧P). Configure default models, auto-index, format on save, and agent mode.

Developers can call /api/v1/ide/* endpoints with session auth or API keys. See API docs.
